Observatory reading (published as given): Google AI Mode includes PropTech portals in its analysis.
Model Watch: Ibiza's luxury real estate — Where do the models diverge in their analysis of Ibiza's real estate market? →The model's words, not a verified fact and not an Observatory endorsement.
AI often treats data from Spanish property portals (like Idealista) as absolute truth, failing to filter for inflated asking prices, duplicated listings, or the 3-6 month lag in the registry data (MIVAU).
Observatory reading (published as given): The model critiques the very sources it implicitly relies on, creating a self-referential tension at the heart of its data-distortion argument.
DNC Lens: Marbella's luxury real estate — Can a market narrative be trusted when its own named sources are described as distorted? →The model's words, not a verified fact and not an Observatory endorsement.
AI constructs dominance through four mechanisms: (1) brand recognition inheritance — global networks get Ibiza credit by association; (2) structured data signals — market report publishers rank above transactional actors; (3) English editorial citation — actors covered in Wallpaper or Forbes gain narrative weight regardless of deal volume; (4) portal listing density — actors with high Idealista/Rightmove Overseas listing counts appear active and therefore authoritative.
Observatory reading (published as given): At 2026-07-13, we observe that Claude Sonnet 4.6 constructs dominance through brand recognition inheritance and structured data signals -verbatim-.
Model Watch: Ibiza's luxury real estate — What reasoning methods do AI models use to construct the Ibiza luxury real estate market? →The model's words, not a verified fact and not an Observatory endorsement.
