The Observatory and AAI Kernel

The Observatory and AAI Kernel are separate companies and independent businesses, each able to operate on its own. The Observatory is published by THE OBSERVATORY PTE. LTD.; AAI Kernel is operated by AAI KERNEL PTE. LTD. (UEN 202644705E), a company incorporated in Singapore. Their relationship is not exclusive: AAI Kernel may supply other customers and publishers, and The Observatory may use other qualified sources under its existing evidence standards.

AAI Kernel — AI Authority Intelligence — is The Observatory’s founding intelligence source and currently supplies much of the governed intelligence published here. It measures and analyses the observable behaviour of search engines and AI systems, including large language models: how they rank, cite and describe organisations and markets, the roles they assign, how their responses differ across systems and retrieval conditions, and how these patterns change over time.

The Observatory controls its publication and editorial decisions. It publishes selected public market readings from AAI Kernel’s intelligence. Captured results, derived measurements and model narratives are distinguished and presented within their stated scope and observation period. Private client diagnostics are not used as the source of public market readings.

AAI Kernel does not claim to read inside AI systems, model weights, or proprietary algorithms. AAI Kernel reads how AI and search systems behave in public answer surfaces over time.

Independence of public readings

The methodology and measured results of public market readings are independent of commercial influence. Inclusion and measured positions follow the applicable methodology and cannot be purchased or adjusted to favour a client, sponsor or partner. AAI Kernel supplies the governed intelligence; The Observatory is responsible for its publication.

These readings describe observed visibility and representations within a stated scope. They are not recommendations or assessments of an organisation’s commercial quality, financial strength or suitability for a customer. Our methodology, limitations and correction process are explained in Method.

Website services

We use technical service providers to deliver the website and store published materials: hosting and website-delivery providers, cloud storage and database providers, email and communications providers, and analytics and performance providers. Our Privacy policy explains the relevant processing of personal information. These technical services are distinct from the publisher identified above.
